, I produce what (to me) is a good, frtohy, creamy, hot milk for lattes I just turn/manipulate the cup rather than the wand. You can also buy separate steam wands though if you want more flexibility. I usually only steam one portion of milk at a time (in a mug) so I'm not sure how easy it would be to steam a larger container of milk.UPDATE:Still working great about a month in!
